Carnegie Fonder’s fund managers are specialists on equities and fixed-income securities in Sweden, the Nordic countries and the world’s emerging markets. Every fund has a head manager, but there is also a team backing up, challenging and acting as a sounding board.
Jonas Andersson
Employed since 2019 and has worked in the industry since 1991.
- Education: Master of Engineering, Lund university.
- Work experience: Equity analyst at ABG, Nordea och Danske Bank amongst others. Fund manger at Alfred Berg

Maria Andersson
Employed since 2016 and has worked in the industry since 2006.
- Education: BSc in economics, Gothenburg university.
- Work experience: Credit analyst at Carnegie Investment Bank and Swedbank.
Manages: Carnegie Corporate Bond, High Yield Select and part of Carnegie Total’s investment team.
Simon Blecher
CIO of Carnegie Fonder. Employed since 2006 and has worked in the industry since 2000.
- Education: BSc Business Administration, Stockholm University.
- Work experience: Financial journalist and business analyst at Affärsvärlden, stock market columnist at DN.se.
- Awards: Sweden’s best financial journalist in 2006, Sweden’s best Sweden manager in 2011 and 2013 (Placera.nu). Star Manager of the year in 2011, 2013, 2014 (Morningstar), Best Swedish fund in 2014 (Privata Affärer).

Fredrik Colliander
Employed since 2000 and has worked in the industry since 1990.
- Education: MSc Business Administration, Uppsala University.
- Work experience: Handelsbanken in Moscow with responsibility for market monitoring of Eastern Europe, fund manager of Handelsbanken’s Eastern Europe fund.
- Awards: Star Manager of the year in 2001, 2005, 2006 and 2009 (Morningstar), Carnegie Rysslandsfond was awarded Lipper Fund Award in 2015.
Manages: Carnegie Rysslandsfond and part of Carnegie Total’s investment team.
Niklas Edman
Employed since 2013 and has worked in the industry since 2007.
- Education: MSc Business Administration, Stockholm School of Economics.
- Work experience: Corporate Finance at Carnegie Investment Bank and manager at Armada Mezzanine Capital.

Mattias Montgomery
Employed since 2019 and has worked in the industry since 2014.

Mikael Engvall
Employed since 2012 and has worked in the industry since 1996.
- Education: BSc Business Administration, Stockholm University.
- Work experience: Initially broker and then head of HQ Emerging Markets, a division that analyzed and invested in equities on the world’s emerging markets.

Karin Fries
Employed since 2004 and has worked in the industry since 2004.
- Education: BA Economics, University of South Carolina USA, and Master of Economics, Lund University.
- Work experience: Initially within sales and fund distribution and then responsible for Carnegie Afrikafond.

Magnus Gustafsson
Employed since 2014 and has worked in the industry since 1996.

Hans Hedström
Employed 1999-2021. Senior advisor since 2021.
- Education: Master of Engineering KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm
- Work experience: Project manager in Corporate Finance, pharmaceuticals analyst, Head of Strategy and Head of Research at Hagströmer & Qviberg, CEO Carnegie Fonder.
Senior advisor and part of Carnegie Total’s investment team.
Viktor Henriksson
Employed since 2005 and has worked in the industry since 1996.
- Education: MSc Business Administration, Stockholm School of Economics.
- Work experience: Analyst at Myrbergs Fondkommision and fund manager at Fjärde AP-fonden.
- Awards: Best Swedish small cap fund in 2015 (Privata Affärer) and Sweden fund of the year in 2015 (Fondmarknaden.se).

Fredrik Huynh
Employed as trader at Carnegie Fonder since 2011 and has worked in the industry since 2003.
- Education: BSc in Business Administration, Stockholm University, and BSc in engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
- Work experience: Emerging market stock broker at HQ Bank and Carnegie Investment Bank, and corporate actions at HQ Bank and SEB.
Gunnar Påhlson
Employed since 2006 and has worked in the industry since 1981.
- Education: Economics graduate in Accounting/Auditing, Stockholm University.
- Work experience: responsible for Handelsbanken’s management of Asia and Japan funds as well as emerging markets funds.

Mona Stenmark
Employed since 2003 and has worked in the industry since 2003.

John Strömgren
Employed since 1996 and has worked in the industry since 1984.
