Number one again

Carnegie Fonder has taken top place among Sweden’s fund distributors and financial advisors for the second year in a row. This is according to the Fund Distributors & Selectors 2016 survey, conducted by TNS Sifo Prospera. “This confirms that more and more people appreciate our investment philosophy – focused value management,” says Carnegie Fonder’s CEO Hans Hedström.

The survey polled 51 insurance companies, private banking firms, fund selectors, advisors and others in the Swedish financial industry on their opinion of various fund management companies.

The evaluation criteria included fund performance, management processes, sales staff knowledge, fund administration, product information and branding.

Carnegie Fonder is ranked in top place among 26 fund managers, ranging from relatively small Swedish fund boutiques to global fund giants. Lannebo Fonder came in second place, followed by US BlackRock in third.

Carnegie Fonder was also ranked number one in the Fund Distributors & Selectors survey in 2015, and won a further commendation earlier this year when it received the very highest recommendation from large investors in the External Asset Management 2016 survey.

“These are highly discerning professionals evaluating us, so we are obviously very proud to come out best in the survey yet again. Our managers have extensive experience and invest intelligently for the long term. The survey shows that more and more people appreciate Carnegie Fonder’s investment philosophy – focused value management,” says Hans Hedström.

The survey was conducted by TNS Sifo Prospera in October and November 2016.

Carnegie Fonder was founded in 1988 and manages approximately SEK 60 billion in equity funds, multi-asset funds and fixed-income funds, with a focus on Sweden, the Nordic region and global emerging markets. Our investment philosophy is called focused value management.
